NBC’s Heroes Show

Niki Sanders has a weird powerNBC’s new Heroes show is shaping up to be a hit this season. If the franchise takes off, we can expect a cult-like following, much like that of 24, Lost, and other hit tv shows. The premise of the show is that different people discovering that they have different powers. The powers range from teleportation to reading minds, undoubtedly they have tapped into what most people would like; to have a superpower.

The first two episodes were spent telling background stories on the characters and making sure their paths would lead to New York. There, they will inevitably join forces to prevent the apocalyptic prophecy of a nuclear detonation in New York, foreseen by the psychic heroin-addicted artist who paints future events.

The show also has an accompanying online comic novel to go with the show. This should be interesting. More and more , tv shows are making interactive story lines that transcend the actual show. Heroes has joined the club in online characters profiles.

Many might be wondering what and where the “black” guy in heroes is. I guess we’ll see tonight if he shows up.
