So who’s behind this site?

Hi I’m Yoan and I’m responsible for barrelofcrafts.com to help small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with helpful, insightful, and straight to the point posts, tutorials, and downloads. While I supply most of the content, my husband Victor, handles the technical aspect of the site.

From time to time we also hire help to write topical articles that cover many areas.

I started barrelofcrafts because after 10 years of working in training and development, I had a baby and stayed home with her. While this was the most exciting (if not tiring), experience of my life, I still wanted to help people learn new things. I wanted something where I could teach and make use of my training skills. A blog was perfect for this!

Many people ask why such a weird name for a site, barrel of crafts. The truth is that I originally thought to sell arts and crafts, but decided against it.

I hope you stick around, there is a lot of exciting content coming in 2011.
